Every player who joins Brecks & Valleys will always be welcomed in the same way. But right now, before its early direction and habits are set, there is a rare opportunity to be present while important choices remain open.
The venue, equipment and regular club nights are ready. What has not been settled is how the club develops beyond those essentials.
The basics needed to play chess are settled. The wider choices are not.

Joining at this stage does not mean organising a chess club from scratch. Brecks & Valleys has the venue, boards, pieces, clocks, regular club nights and the practical organisation needed to begin.
What remains open are decisions best made with the people who will experience their results.
